Celebrating Over 25 Years in Cape Coral
Like many small businesses, ACRA Electric, Inc. started out as a one truck outfit doing residential wiring in the local area and building a customer base through recommendations from satisfied customers.
In 1976, we opened our office on SE 46th Lane, and we have been at the same location ever since. The building, starting out at 1500 square feet has grown to over 7200 square feet with fenced parking for our fleet of 45 vehicles, including 2 bucket trucks. Over the years the company has expanded to 4 Divisions.
Our work includes Residential, Commercial, Service and Marine Divisions. We work for many of the area's most successful General Contractors, and we have many valued customers that we would like to thank for over 30 years of valued relationships in Cape Coral and Southwest Florida.
To commemorate our 25th year in Cape Coral, we donated a lighting system for the Memorial Arch Monument on Cape Coral Parkway. This system was installed as part of the "Greenscaping" of that median.
Our business is located at 842 SE 46th Lane, downtown Cape Coral, and our office hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily, and we offer 24 Hour Emergency Service.
ACRA Electric, Inc. was established in May 1975 by Anthony and Carmella Greco and their sons, Robert and Anthony Jr. The family moved to Southwest Florida in 1973 from Long Island, New York. Cape Coral became their home, and just as their business has grown, their family has grown as well. Robert and his wife Denise have two beautiful daughters, Laura and Raeann, and Anthony Jr. and his wife Cathy have two handsome sons, Michael and Joseph.
The family has become deeply involved in the community through business and personal associations such as the Cape Coral Construction Industry Association, Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce, Rotary of Cape Coral Goldcoast, Cape Coral Jaycees, City of Cape Coral Code Enforcement Board and Licensing Board, Lee Building Industry Association, and Cape Coral RC Hawks. Anthony Sr. and Robert are both Past Presidents of the CCCIA, the only father and son to hold that position.
In 1996, Anthony and Carmella retired, and today Robert and Anthony Jr. run the business with a capable staff of dedicated employees.
